Add half the butter and all the flour to a pot over medium heat; stir and combine. Reserve the rest of the butter for later.
Slowly whisk in cream. Add chopped meat, all the spices and continue to whisk and simmer until it reaches a thick consistency.
In a small pan, add oil and half the remaining butter. Then add sliced potatoes and fry until golden brown in colour. Drain excess oil and set aside.
Butter both sides of bread and place on heated griddle until golden brown, flip and layer cheeses, meat gravy and potatoes. Sandwich together and fry until golden brown and cheese is melted. Cut in half and serve.
