cup fresh or frozen cranberries
cup sugar (or as needed, depending on the sweetness of the cranberries)
Tbsp brandy (optional)
zest and juice of one orange
cup orange juice (store bought)
Combine all ingredients in a medium sized saucepot and place over medium heat. Cook the mixture uncovered until it resembles a jam like consistency, about 35- 40 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool slightly. Serve warm.
