About the Show
Acclaimed chef and restaurateur Tom Colicchio along with Maggie Nemser and Jeffrey Zurofsky challenge sixteen restaurants against each other in a a series of battles to determine which one is the best new restaurant. In the end, only one will be crowned Best New Restaurant and win an editorial feature in Bon Appétit, a featured spot at America’s number one global food festival, Vegas Uncork’d by Bon Appétit 2015, and $100,000. U.S.Celebrity Chef, restaurateur and TV personality Gordon Ramsay is an executive producer along with Tom Colicchio.

Tom Colicchio
Tom Colicchio returns as lead judge for Food Network's Top Chef and also serves as mentor to the competing chefs on the series, guiding them through their various challenges.
In July of 1994, Colicchio, along with partner Danny Meyer, opened Gramercy Tavern in Manhattan's Gramercy Park neighborhood. His cooking at Gramercy earned consistent recognition; after three nominations for James Beard's Best Chef NY Award, he won it in 2000.

Previously Maggie was the food editor at Yahoo where she covered everything from recipes to restaurant trends.

Jeffrey Zurofsky
Jeffrey Zurofsky has followed his passion for entrepreneurship and the culinary arts throughout his career, culminating in the perfect blend as a partner in 'wichcraft. In 2003, Jeffrey joined with chefs Tom Colicchio and Sisha Ortúzar to develop 'wichcraft as a sandwich shop where the ingredients and cooking techniques are rooted in fine dining but served in a casual and welcoming environment.
