    It all comes down to the final week, as Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay watch the Food Network pilots for the three finalists. Watch what happens behind the scenes of Food Network Star, and then find out who joins the Food Network family and is crowned the newest Food Network star!

  • Who Wants a Pilot?

    Season 13 - August 6, 2017

    The three remaining finalists are in for a shock when they learn that a previously eliminated finalist is reentering the competition after winning Star Salvation on FoodNetwork.com. With the help of former finalists, the last four competitors must cook the dish of their lives for the privilege of making a pilot. Former Food Network Star winner Eddie Jackson is back to help select the three finalists, who then shoot pilots directed by none other than Guy Fieri!

  • Game Day Special

    Season 13 - July 30, 2017

    The four remaining finalists try their hand at reporting live on location by visiting popular food trucks while Giada De Laurentiis, Bobby Flay and special guest Sabin Lomac watch from the studio. Then, it's time for each finalist to partake in their own segment of a special called "Up Your Game (Day)," performing a demo of a special game-day dish while also tackling surprises along the way. ESPN's Jemele Hill and special guest Jaymee Sire watch the special with Bobby and Giada to help decide which finalist goes down in defeat.

  • Cooking Goes Live! (DO NOT AIR)

    Season 13 - July 23, 2017

    The finalists must try their hand at something big, taking their inspiration from Josh Denny and his hit Food Network show, Ginormous Food. Then, it's time for the up-to-the-minute trend of live cooking while streaming on social media. Each finalist streams their take on a start-to-finish 15-minute weeknight meal while viewers cook along. Surprise guest Alex Guarnaschelli provides feedback on the finalists' performances as Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay send one more finalist on their way.

  • Beat Bobby Flay

    Season 13 - July 16, 2017

    The finalists take on the hit Food Network show, Beat Bobby Flay! In the first round of cooking, the finalists go head-to-head to determine who will take on the master himself, Bobby Flay, in round two. Anyone who can beat Bobby is safe from elimination, but those who are not up to the challenge may lose their spot in the competition. Special guest Anne Burrell helps determine which finalist will not be moving on.

  • Summer Party Playoffs

    Season 13 - July 9, 2017

    It's halfway through the competition, so it's time for midterms! Each of the remaining seven finalists must make their best potato dish and overcome the one thing in the competition that has been holding them back. Then it's time to celebrate summer with Tiffani Thiessen, who helps Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay judge the finalists' efforts as they each host a summer social gathering for a crowd of people in a park.

  • Sunny's Kitchen Hacks

    Season 13 - July 2, 2017

    First, the finalists pair up and take on a typical shopping budget problem while creating an Instagram Story about their shopping trip, with special guest Hannah Hart helping Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay judge their efforts. Then it's time for Sunny Anderson to hit the Food Network Star kitchen, bringing several of her favorite problem-solving segments from The Kitchen for the finalists to perform in front of a studio audience.

  • Glamping

    Season 13 - June 25, 2017

    The remaining finalists are divided into teams and sent into the wilderness. When they arrive at a campsite, they must use whatever camping food is in the back of their cars to create a "glamping" meal. Each team will present their dishes to Giada De Laurentiis, along with guests Melissa d'Arabian and Andrew Zimmern, who will decide which finalist successfully elevated camping food to glamping dishes and gave the best tips for working with wilderness fare.

  • All-Terrain Eats

    Season 13 - June 18, 2017

    The ten remaining finalists divide into two teams, with each team creating a five-course menu for an experiential restaurant. Diners will experience a completely different environment for each course, such as an appetizer in the jungle and a main course in the desert. Each finalist must also make a video menu describing their dish for the diners, who will select which one they want to taste. Special guest Tyler Florence dines with Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay and helps decide which finalist is sent home.

  • Beauty And The Beast

    Season 13 - June 11, 2017

    The finalists host a party celebrating Disney's live-action feature Beauty and the Beast. The finalists are divided into three teams, with each team drawing inspiration from one of the iconic rooms of the castle to decorate a serving station and cook up a dish before presenting to a ballroom full of party guests. Special guest Sandra Lee attends the event with Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay to help pick a winning team, then two finalists from the losing team are sent home.

    Season 13 - June 4, 2017

    Twelve Food Network Star hopefuls arrive at the historic Orpheum Theater in downtown Los Angeles in search of their big break. Upon their arrival, Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay greet them with the troubling news that they must pass one more big audition before they will officially be considered finalists. On top of that, they learn there is one more person joining the competition: the winner of Food Network Star: Comeback Kitchen. Special guests Monti Carlo and Robert Irvine help Giada and Bobby decide who will be the first competitor sent home.

    Season 12 - July 31, 2016

    After 10 grueling weeks of the toughest challenges on television, the final three watch their pilots with Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay. One winner is selected and will go on to shoot their very own show on Food Network! 

  • Pushing for a Pilot

    Season 12 - July 24, 2016

    It's down to three finalists, but there's a surprise in store when an eliminated contestant reenters the competition after winning Star Salvation on FoodNetwork.com. The final four then battle it out with former finalists helping as their sous chefs. Food Network Star winner Aarti Sequeria joins to help select the final three to shoot pilots, which they then film with help from another winner: Guy Fieri! 

  • Food Holiday Fray

    Season 12 - July 17, 2016

    For the next challenge, the finalists are each assigned a different holiday party -- St. Patrick's Day, Cinco de Mayo, Mardi Gras, New Year's Eve, or Easter -- and take turns planning and hosting their own holiday special. Tia Mowry and Donal Skehan, hosts of Food Network Star Kids, are on hand to help Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay taste the food and judge the holiday specials.

  • Guilty Pleasures Dinner

    Season 12 - July 10, 2016

    The finalists join forces to create a five-course meal composed of nothing but indulgent, over-the-top, guilty pleasure dishes. Each finalist gives a presentation of their course, describing their unique take on the dish and all its guilty glory to Giada De Laurentiis, Bobby Flay, and guest judges Alex Guarnaschelli and Trisha Yearwood. 

  • Tiki Takeover

    Season 12 - July 3, 2016

    First, special guest judge Lorraine Pascale helps Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay determine the best dish made from frozen foods. Then, it's time for one of the most festive trends -- a tiki party! In teams of three, the finalists create an island-inspired menu, then take the stage for a team food demo to a crowd of party-goers. Anne Burrell joins as guest judge to help pick the best tiki team.

    Season 12 - June 26, 2016

    Duff Goldman joins Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay as the finalists take their culinary prowess to new levels with "edible art." Then, Rhett and Link, hosts of the wildly popular YouTube channel "Good Mythical Morning," challenge the finalists to take a spin as a guest on their show. Each finalist participates in their very own "Will It?" segment, pairing unlikely ingredients and asking questions like "Will It Jell-O?" and "Will It Cookie?"

  • Motorsports Tailgating

    Season 12 - June 19, 2016

    Chef Robert Irvine shows his love of NASCAR and the inevitable tailgating that comes along with it as he challenges the finalists to create a dish worthy of a world-class tailgate party! Then, Robert and fellow guest judge Katie Lee help Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay decide who is sent home.

  • Room Service Revenge

    Season 12 - June 12, 2016

    First, the finalists try their hand at delivering a trendy remote food report for Entertainment Tonight hosts Kevin Frazier and Nancy O'Dell. Then, as the finalists take over the kitchen in an upscale hotel and prepare a special tableside dining experience, they are tested on how well they can handle curveballs thrown at them by YouTube sensation Hannah Hart and Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

    Season 12 - June 5, 2016

    The finalists pair up to shoot a promo for their version of a show called "Family Road Trip!" Whether their destination is camping, the state fair or even Grandma's house, their promo and dishes had better impress Giada De Laurentiis, Bobby Flay and the guest judges, Food Network Magazine's Editor-in-Chief Maile Carpenter and actress Ali Larter! 

  • Mash-Up Throwdown

    Season 12 - May 29, 2016

    Cooking Channel’s Haylie Duff and Rev Run join as guest judges, and first, Haylie helps Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay determine which pair of competitors should earn an advantage based on their culinary travelogue report. Then, Rev Run challenges the finalists to mash up two different cooking styles into one dish and compete in the food world equivalent of a rap battle! In a surprise twist, two finalists are sent packing.

  • Cinematic Debut!

    Season 12 - May 22, 2016

    The finalists shoot 30-second screen tests to explain what they are all about, which are then screened at a VIP event in Los Angeles in front of a Hollywood crowd. Mentors Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay surprise the finalists when an eliminated contestant from a previous season also joins the competition, then Valerie Bertinelli and Tyler Florence help decide who will be the first to be sent home.

    Season 11 - August 16, 2015

    The final three are joined by the nine eliminated Finalists to view their pilots, along with Giada De Laurentiis, Bobby Flay, Susie Fogelson and Bob Tuschman. After the screening, the Selection Committee deliberates, and Brooke Johnson, president of Food Network, announces the winner of Food Network Star!

  • Dish of a Lifetime and Pilots

    Season 11 - August 9, 2015

    The winner of Star Salvation rejoins the competition, and the remaining four Finalists each choose a sous chef from the eliminated contestants to help them cook the best dish of their lives. Following their presentations, Giada De Laurentiis, Bobby Flay, Susie Fogelson and Bob Tuschman will determine which three Finalists will get to film pilots directed by special guest Rachael Ray.

    Season 11 - August 2, 2015

    In this week's challenges, the Finalists learn that there are no second takes in live TV. After cooking and demoing a dish based on an assigned theme, the Finalists cook a dish and host their own segment of a live ensemble show. The Kitchen's Jeff Mauro and Katie Lee assist Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay in determining which Finalist had the worst performance.

  • Lifestyle Brand

    Season 11 - July 26, 2015

    With a focus on their lifestyle brands, the Finalists first create and present a dish that a home cook can prepare in 30 to 45 minutes. Then, they cook and film a video for a dish that reflects a holiday through their culinary point of view. Damaris Phillips serves as guest director for their video presentations, and then joins Giada De Laurentiis, Bobby Flay, Susie Fogelson and Bob Tuschman at the judging table.

  • Food Truck Throwdown

    Season 11 - July 19, 2015

    In their first challenge, the Finalists create and present a portable version of their favorite brunch dish to Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay. Then, guest judge Richard Blais pairs the Finalists into teams to create a social media promo video for their own food trucks. These videos will be shown to food truck enthusiasts, who will get food from the truck whose offerings they most want to taste.

  • Improv

    Season 11 - July 12, 2015

    In the Mentor Challenge, the Finalists are tasked with creating and presenting an enticing pizza with kicked-up flavors for Giada De Laurentiis, Bobby Flay, and guest judges Duff Goldman and Darin Harris, CEO of CiCi's Pizza. In the Star Challenge, Bobby and guest David Alan Grier randomly assign each Finalist several criteria for their dishes, which they'll present in a demo for a crowd filled with fans of food and comedy. Susie Fogelson and Bob Tuschman assist Giada and Bobby in eliminating the least successful Finalist.

  • The Perfect Match

    Season 11 - July 5, 2015

    In the Mentor Challenge, the Finalists' favorite ingredients are swapped with those of another Finalist for a dish they prepare for Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay. Then, they arrive at Patina Restaurant in downtown Los Angeles, where they are paired up to collaborate on a dish that blends their culinary styles, presenting that dish to first-time daters from Match. Anne Burrell and Joachim Splichal, master chef of Patina Group, join Giada and Bobby at the judging table.

  • 4th of July Cookout

    Season 11 - June 28, 2015

    The finalists are split into teams of three, tasked with creating and presenting a cohesive menu to a crowd of hungry families at a 4th of July cookout. Guest judge Bobby Deen joins Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay to determine which team is safe, and which finalist will be sent home.

    Season 11 - June 21, 2015

    It's all about keeping up with the latest food trends when the finalists first create and photograph their own version of tiny foods, and then create a five-course meal where each course corresponds to a buzzword. The Kitchen's Sunny Anderson and Geoffrey Zakarian join Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay to decide which finalist failed to trend.

  • Savory Baking

    Season 11 - June 14, 2015

    The finalists are tested on their adaptability in the two challenges today. First, they create inspiring dishes using leftovers, which they present to Giada De Laurentiis, Bobby Flay and guest judge Melissa d'Arabian. Then, they serve and present a savory dish inspired by the world of desserts to five of the country's finest pastry chefs. Guest judge Alex Guarnaschelli will help Giada and Bobby determine which finalist will be going home.

  • Food Star Food Festival

    Season 11 - June 7, 2015

    The 12 Food Network Star finalists hit Los Angeles running, tasked with making an introductory video for the food festival being held the following day, where they will serve their signature dish. Along with Mentors Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay, their dishes and presentations will be judged by Food Network executives Bob Tuschman and Susie Fogelson, joined by People Magazine's JD Heyman.

  • A Food Star is Born

    Season 10 -

    The results are in! America has voted to determine who will be the next Food Network Star. Before the winner is revealed, all of the finalists are back in the studio to tell all and view never-before-seen footage from the season. Bobby Flay, Alton Brown and Giada De Laurentiis each share their favorite moments during an emotional look back at the final three's journey to the finale. Then, suspense rises as the time comes to reveal who will walk away as the new Food Network Star.
     
  • Cutthroat Food Star

    Season 10 -

    A Food Network Star must have the knowledge and ability to adapt to any circumstance that arises. In two heats of five, the finalists bid on sabotages to saddle their competitors with, then battle it out in the kitchen, Cutthroat Kitchen style. Alton Brown runs the festivities, and the finalists' dishes are critiqued by Bobby Flay and Chef Jet Tila. The winning finalist in each heat keeps his or her winnings, while the least-successful competitor hits the road.
     
  • Hollywood Calling!

    Season 10 -

    Twelve hopefuls arrive in Los Angeles to compete for the ultimate prize: their own show on Food Network. The finalists meet mentors Alton Brown, Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay, who help prepare the finalists for their big debut at a Hollywood Premier Party, where each contestant must prepare and present one party appetizer to Food Network executives Bob Tuschman and Susie Fogelson as well as Hollywood insiders, including E!'s Ross Mathews, who help decide which contestants have a shot at becoming a Food Network Star. One finalist's dream ends here, and the remaining 11 continue their Star journey. 
     
  • Internet Marketing Video

    Season 10 -

    Today's Food Network Stars must have a multiplatform presence. In the Mentor Challenge, Bobby Flay tests the social-media acumen of the finalists by having them each create a behind-the-scenes video selfie in the Food Network Star Kitchen. For the Star Challenge, the finalists are teamed up to make an Internet marketing video for a Hershey's candy product. The videos are shot at YouTube's soundstages and judged by two YouTube executives. Whose video will have the judges wanting to hit "forward," and whose will have them "deleted" from the competition? 
     
  • Live Demo at Knott's Berry Farm

    Season 10 -

    Live demos are a staple of every Food Network Star's repertoire. In this week's challenge the finalists take the stage at Knott's Berry Farm — an amusement park built on a deep culinary tradition — to perform a food demo for hundreds of park visitors. The finalist who fails to wow the crowd with his or her show and food goes home. 
     
     
  • One of A Kind Experience

    Season 10 -

    As Las Vegas is all about one-of-a-kind experiences, the finalists are divided into two teams, and each must each create a memorable dining experience for the Selection Committee along with special guest Penn Jillette. The team voted least successful lands in the bottom three. 

  • Please Try This At Home

    Season 10 -

    A Food Network Star must be able to teach home viewers how to prepare great meals. In the Mentor Challenge, Alton Brown challenges the finalists to teach him how to make one of his own recipes. Then for the Star Challenge, the finalists must create a video demonstrating one of their own dishes for the home viewer. What they don't know is that Chef Alex Guarnaschelli will be playing along, trying to make the dish. After Alex is revealed to the finalists, she helps the Selection Committee decide who will be sent home. 
     
     
  • Product Commercial

    Season 10 -

    Each finalist is tasked with creating a product that represents his or her unique brand and culinary style. After receiving feedback from the judges, each finalist makes a commercial for his or her product in an unorthodox setting.
     
  • Promos and Pilots

    Season 10 -

    The final four contestants each shoot a promo for the show they want on Food Network while being coached by Alton Brown, Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis. Bob Tuschman and Susie Fogelson are back to pick the final three, who will make pilots for their shows, which are directed by the toughest star on the network: Robert Irvine! After the episode airs, viewers will be able to vote online and via phone to determine who wins the ultimate prize at next week's finale.

  • Rachael Ray Show

    Season 10 -

    Testing their abilities to think on their feet and react to any situation thrown at them, the finalists are tasked with solving a culinary problem for a Rachael Ray viewer. They must each create a dish that addresses the viewer's problem, then perform a demo of the dish on the Rachael Ray Show. The Selection Committee watches the action backstage and determines who will continue.

  • Vegas Pool Party

    Season 10 -

    The finalists are challenged with creating dishes that represent them, and each finalist must describe his or her dish to guests at a pool party at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The Selection Committee decides who did the best overall and sends one finalist home.

  • 4th of July Live

    Season 9 -

    Food Network Stars are required to think on their feet and react to any situation thrown at them, especially live television events. The finalists cook with special guest Terrence Jenkins, co-anchor of E! News, in a live cooking demo where each contestant faces a series of untimely curveballs. The winner of this challenge gets an advantage in the next one, as the finalists participate in a Fourth of July-themed show designed to help viewers with must-have recipes and tips for summer parties. Each finalist is assigned a different live post such as barbequing, crafting drinks, or reporting from the field, and they must tackle their task while fielding interactive elements such as video calls, web questions and tweets. Bob Tuschman, accompanied by Bobby and Giada, watch the action remotely through a live feed and determine who will continue on.
  • A Star is Chopped

    Season 9 -

    A Food Network Star must have the knowledge and ability to use a wide range of ingredients and be able to take any combination to new culinary heights. Each of the ten remaining finalists is given an exotic ingredient and under Alton and Bobby’s guidance, must identify and use their ingredient successfully in a dish. The top two win a seat at the judge's table in the next challenge, while their competitors battle it out in the kitchen, Chopped-style. The eight finalists compete and make a dish with four mystery basket ingredients, to be critiqued by Chopped judge Alex Guarnaschelli. The least successful competitor hits the road, and the remaining nine finalists continue their journey.
  • America Picks a Star

    Season 9 -

    The results are in as America has voted to determine who will be the next Food Network Star. Before the winner is revealed, the finalists are back in the studio to tell all and view never-before-seen footage from the season. Bobby, Alton and Giada each share their favorite moments during an emotional look back at remaining finalists' journey to the finale. Then, suspense rises as the time comes to reveal who will walk away as the new Food Network Star.
  • Are You Ready For Prime Time?

    Season 9 -

    In the premiere episode of Food Network Star, twelve hopefuls arrive in Los Angeles to compete for the ultimate prize: their own show on Food Network. The finalists meet mentors Alton Brown, Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay, who help prepare the finalists for the biggest audition of their lives. In the Mentor Challenge, each finalist films a pitch tape, hones in on their personal hook and explains why they are the best person for the job. Then, in the Star Challenge, each contestant must prepare and present one dish to Food Network executives Bob Tuschman and Susie Fogelson and a focus group of Food Network viewers who help decide who has a shot at becoming a Food Network Star. One contestant’s dream ends here, and the remaining eleven continue their Star journey.
  • Big Screen Bites

    Season 9 -

    From food to products to restaurants, Food Network Stars have to be informed on the latest culinary trends. The movie theater experience is being transformed with luxury cinemas popping up all over the country, and in the Mentor Challenge, the contestants are put into teams of three to create a menu and a movie trailer for a focus group of movie enthusiasts. Then, they compete at one of these extravagant cinemas, preparing the meal they proposed in their movie trailer. The focus group decides which meal they want to try based on the trailer, and then vote on which menu they liked the best. Whose concept will be a hit at the box office and who will go home?
  • Burger Bash

    Season 9 -

    A Food Network Star must be able to do entertaining demonstrations and cook for a crowd. This episode pays homage to the Food Network Wine and Food Festival with its very own “Burger Bash,” an over-the-top burger competition. The finalists create the best burger of their lives and present it to 100 burger enthusiasts and after the presentations, the burger fans decide whose creation they want to try solely based on their presentation. After a vote on which burger has the best flavor, the least successful finalist is sent home.
  • Food Stories From the Road

    Season 9 -

    Whether it’s in the kitchen or in the field, a Food Network Star is always describing food in a way that brings it to life - helping viewers feel as if they are experiencing the dish first hand. The finalists create an Italian-themed dish using one of three Buitoni® products and present in groups of two with a twist: they must present their opponent’s dish instead of their own. The contestants are then divided into teams to film a three-minute ‘food-story show’ about two establishments – a pizza joint and a donut shop. The shows are then screened and critiqued by a team of Star-makers: The Hollywood Reporter Editorial Director Janice Min and Senior Writers Gary Baum and Leslie Bruce. The team voted least successful lands in the bottom three, with one finalist heading home.
  • Menu Impossible

    Season 9 -

    A Food Network Star must be able to offer tips and solutions for any culinary situation and make information accessible to viewers. One of the most frequently asked questions is “What can I cook with everyday items in my pantry?” so using Kellogg's® Special K® Cereals and Snacks, the finalists cook up a delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner dish. Then, special guest Robert Irvine leads the finalists in rehabilitating failing or outdated dishes on a restaurant’s menu. The least successful finalist is sent home.
  • Network Pitch

    Season 9 -

    The four finalists finally have their chance to pitch a show to Food Network. They practice their pilot pitch to Bobby, Alton and Giada - who coach them through their presentation before their network pitch to executives Bob Tuschman and Susie Fogelson, who are back to choose the final three. Based on the presentations, Bob and Susie green light three concepts, and the finalists create their pilots – to be directed by season two Food Network Star winner Guy Fieri. After the episode airs, viewers will be able to vote online and via phone to determine who wins the ultimate prize at next week’s finale.
  • Product Pitch

    Season 9 -

    A big part of being a Food Network Star is communicating big ideas quickly – recipes, brands, concepts, products. Each finalist has to come up with two product samples that represent their unique brand and culinary style. The judges offer feedback to each finalist on both products, and they must choose one to create, package and pitch to a tough panel of successful food executives. One by one the finalists pitch their product and themselves to the panel - who then votes on whether this is a viable product based on presentation and taste. The selection committee then decides who did best overall, and one finalist heads home.
  • Star Charity Auction

    Season 9 -

    Stars must be adventurous, both on the screen and in the kitchen. Each finalist is challenged to use an off-the-wall ingredient to create a fantastic dish and auction the dish to a roomful of adventurous eaters. The better they sell their dish to the bidders and the more convincing they are, the higher the prices will rise, with all the money being raised for charity. The finalist whose dish is sold for the most money wins the presentation portion of the challenge and is safe from elimination. The selection committee will then decide who did the best overall and send one finalist home.

  • Deen Family Beach Party

    Season 8 -

    This week, the finalists head to Miami for the South Beach Wine and Food Festival. Paula Deen is having a summer beach party for friends and family at SOBE -- and the finalists are cooking up the meal!
  • Deliciously Unpredictable Demos

    Season 8 -

    This week the seven remaining finalists are invited to be guests at a SOBE cooking-demonstration tent. Upon arrival, the tables are turned -- and the finalists will be asked to take the stage for their very own SOBE demo in front of the huge crowd!
  • Dessert Chopping Block

    Season 8 -

    The 13 remaining finalists meet Chopped judges Alex Guarnaschelli, Scott Conant, and Marc Murphy and are given their Star Challenge: desserts. But it's not just any dessert challenge. Each team must use a basket of ingredients to create their best sweet concoction in a head-to-head inter-team battle -- Chopped style!
  • Fashion Week Food Makeover

    Season 8 -

    It's Fashion Week in New York and the finalists are thrilled to learn that as potential stars, a "makeover" is essential ... but THEY aren't being made over; it's a food "makeover!" Each finalist will have to "makeover" a bland dish, making it look (and taste) good for the most fashionable crowd on the planet. Ted Allen will be on hand to judge the fashion shows, plus an extra prize is announced for the winning finalist.

    America has voted and a Food Network Star will be crowned tonight! After taking an emotional look back at each of the three remaining finalists' journeys, Bobby, Alton and Giada discuss why they think their finalist should win. The finalists' families join the final three and America's vote is revealed!

Each finalist will have to create and perform a live, themed television special based on a holiday or event.     In the premiere episode of Food Network Star, 15 hopefuls arrive in New York to compete for the ultimate dream job: to host their own show on Food Network. The finalists arrive at the Food Network kitchens to greet their team leaders, Alton Brown, Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis, and meet their rivals for the first time! Special guest Robert Irvine gives the finalists their first Star Challenge: to create their very own Pop-Up restaurant from the ground up - with an extremely limited budget and very little time.
  • Iron Chef Food Court

    Season 8 -

    Ten finalists remain to compete for the title of Food Network Star. This week, each finalist must elevate iconic food-court food while adapting to the limitations of a kiosk.  The challenge is taken to another level when they learn they'll be feeding Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian in addition to 150 hungry shoppers! Tensions mount as Zakarian provides an Iron Chef-worthy secret ingredient which the finalists will have to incorporate in their dishes.

    Being a Food Network Star requires handling yourself with ease in the glare of the media spotlight. Finalists will be more exposed than ever as they film their own promotional video -- without the support of their producers! A panel of journalists grills each of the finalists with tough questions about their techniques, personal background and the show they want to bring to Food Network. Who can handle the journalists and who cracks under the pressure?
  • NYC On the Go

    Season 8 -

    This week's challenge is a food tour of New York! The finalists are split into three teams and will each take a busload of tourists on a tour of three different New York neighborhoods. How entertaining are they? What landmarks will they highlight? How much food knowledge do they impart? Then each finalist will have to prepare and serve a dish to the judges based on the research they do in the neighborhoods.
  • Pilot Greenlights

    Season 8 -

    The six finalists will star in promos for their own Food Network shows, directed by their producers; Bobby, Alton and Giada. The finalists who survive will get to make pilots for their very own show led by their producer. The pilots will air for all of America to see, and then viewers will get to vote on which finalist deserves their own show on Food Network.

Paula Deen makes a surprise visit to the Food Star Kitchen. At the Star Challenge, the finalists go Hollywood as they team up to feed the cast and crew of the hit show Cougar Town.
  • Diners, Drive-in And 4th of July

    Guy Fieri rolls up in his classic red Camaro to guide the finalists through a segment of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Then the finalists head out to a Fourth of July bash where they must re-create American classic dishes AND perform their first cooking demo on stage.
  • Dinner Party For Wolfgang Puck

    Season 7 -

    For their midterm cooking challenge, the finalists have to cook their signature dish for the judges. Adding to the pressure, they also must incorporate everything they've learned up to this point. Next, Wolfgang Puck shows up for dinner at the finalists' house and one finalist gets an impromptu cooking lesson from the master.

  • Duelling Desserts

    Season 7 -

    The finalists have their work cut out for them during the Camera Challenge when they must use a sweet Hershey's product to turn dessert into dinner. Special guests Duff Goldman and Michael Symon challenge the finalists to create a Dueling Desserts party. When the finalists are split into two teams, tension mounts as they struggle to work together to beat their opponents and save themselves from elimination.
  • Finale: Cook For Your Life

    Season 7 -

    The three remaining finalists think they are all making a pilot, but are shocked to find out there is one challenge left. It's time to "Cook For Your Life," and everyone must pull out all the stops to create their ultimate dish. After one finalist is sent packing, it's down to the final two. Guy Fieri returns to direct them in their pilots and, in a surprise twist, all of the eliminated finalists return as the focus group who will help decide who will win the ultimate prize: their own show on Food Network.

  • Food Truck Face Off

    Season 7 -

    Tyler Florence (The Great Food Truck Race) divides the nine finalists into three groups of three, challenging them to create and brand a unique menu for a lunch truck and sell their product to consumers. They must film an advertising spot promoting their truck and then serve mobile meals to viewers they inspired. Viewers can only visit the truck whose advertisement they liked best, so contestants have to put their best foot forward to stand out to consumers. Which team will master the art of selling and outshine all the other competitors?

    The 14 remaining finalists must create a pizza that reflects their culinary point of view. A surprise elimination shocks the finalists. The pressure is really on for the group during the Star Challenge when they have to cook in front of a panel of Food Network superstars!

    Who better to judge a cupcake challenge than the Barefoot Contessa? Ina Garten is the guest judge for a challenge which throws all of the finalists into a baking frenzy. Then Food Network Star returns to the Rachael Ray show for the ultimate pressure-cooker: a live-audience cooking demo.

    In the ultimate Food Network Star challenge, the finalists face off in the Iron Chef Kitchen Stadium. Alton Brown hosts the showdown while guest judge and Iron Chef Michael Symon lends his palate to the panel.

    Season 7 -

    Fifteen eager Food Star Finalists arrive at Hollywood's famous Grauman's Chinese Theater, where they meet each other for the first time and are welcomed by Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis. For their first Camera Challenge, the finalists must create a breakfast dish that reflects their personality and culinary point of view. Their first Star Challenge finds them shooting promos for their shows as well as cooking for a panel of Hollywood's press, including Mario Lopez from television's Extra. The first finalist is sent packing.
  • Reunion Special

    Season 7 -

    For the first time since Week 1, all 15 finalists are back together. They'll be joined by the Selection Committee as they look back on the biggest fights, failures, successes, plus unseen footage from the entire season. We'll also check in on the most memorable finalists from past seasons. This will all lead into the finale where one of the final three will be crowned a Food Network Star.

  • Dinner Party in the Hamptons

    Season 5 -

    The finalists must throw a dinner party on a budget. Tyler Florence meets the finalists at Stew Leonards grocery store and gives them each $60 to shop for a budget dinner party for 12. Afterwards they find out that they'll have to use the budget groceries they've just bought to cater a dinner party at Ina Garten's house in the Hamptons!
  • Finale

    Season 5 -

    The remaining two finalists return to the Food Network studios to shoot their very own pilots. On the big day, they discover that none other than Alton Brown is there to direct them! We follow them through the ups and downs of the "making of" their pilots, all leading up to the big Studio Finale. Once there, the final two are reunited with the Selection Committee and the eight eliminated finalists to watch the pilots in front of a live studio audience. Then comes the final moment when the Selection Committee makes the decision that will change someone's life forever-who will be the Next Food Network Star!
  • Hearst Holidays

    Season 5 -

    For their first challenge, the finalists must create a "recipe for men," pairing unique ingredients found in the typical man's pantry. The winner gets their recipe published in Esquire magazine. Then, the finalists must bring the holiday foods to life for the Good Housekeeping challenge. They each must come up with innovate food inspired by some traditional, and some non-traditional, holidays.
  • Miami "Up All Night"

    Season 5 -

    Before the remaining 5 finalists board their flight, they're stopped at the airport by Ted Allen. He gives them the Jet Blue challenge. The finalists must come up with an innovative dish using ingredients from the many restaurants in Jet Blue's Terminal 5. Then they're off to Miami where they must cater a party for the glamorous people of South Beach's nightlife scene.
  • Press Party

    Season 5 -

    The 10 finalists arrive in NY and they are immediately thrown into their first challenge. They will be catering a press party celebrating Food Network's 16th year. This is their first chance to make a big impression, as they try to impress a room full of some of the biggest Food Network stars, Food Network staff, and national press.
  • Rachel Ray

    Season 5 -

    Bobby Flay presents the finalists with the Yum-O challenge. They'll take "yuck-o" ingredients, and turn them into a appealing kid-friendly "yum-o" dish. Then the finalists are thrown into the studio - they'll have to perform their first demo in front of a live audience on the Rachael Ray show. Rachael tells them that the 5 finalists continuing on will travel to Miami for their next set of challenges.
  • Red Lobster Battle

    Season 5 -

    The finalists find out that they'll be going to the studio of a local Miami morning show to perform live cooking demos. What they don't know is that the demos will be rigged to test their grace under pressure and ability to improvise. Then the finalists meet Chef Michael Symon, and he challenges them to create innovative seafood dishes right on the beach.
  • Thr Ultimate American Meal

    Season 5 -

    Bobby Flay tells the finalists to create their own innovative twist on the traditional hamburger in only 20 minutes. Then Guy Fieri presents the main challenge at the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum. They'll be throwing a homecoming party for returning soldiers from Iraq and they each must create an all-American dish.
  • VIP Party

    Season 5 -

    The final 3 meet Emeril Lagasse at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival to shoot scripted promos for their Food Network shows. Then Emeril gives them their toughest challenge yet - they will create and present a 3-course meal to the culinary elite at a private VIP dinner party in celebration of the film Julie and Julia.

    Tyler Florence tests Finalists' culinary skills doing videos for foodnetwork.com. Then Iron Chef Michael Symon challenges Finalists to create unique seafood dishes-and serve to a ship full of Coast Guardsmen. Winning dish gets on the menu at Red Lobster!
  • Enticing and Easy with Bon Apetit

    Season 4 -

    Iron Chef Cat Cora challenges Finalists to describe food enticingly for the camera-only they've never seen the dishes before. Then Finalists must team up to make easy versions of extremely complicated dishes. The winning dish gets featured in Bon Appetit.
  • Finale

    Season 4 -

    The final contenders face off at Food Network, performing pilot presentations of their dream shows. All the Finalists return and join a live audience to find out who will be The Next Food Network Star.
  • FN Star On the Go

    Season 4 -

    Robert Irvine gives Finalists a rude awakening at 2 am, as they team up and race across Manhattan in a test of their food knowledge. Then each team must prepare and serve an original brunch menu on a moving train. Winners are featured in USA Weekend.
  • Into the Studio

    Season 4 -

    Each Finalist is paired with an 8-year-old Girl Scout, for whom they must invent a healthy and tasty meal. Then they learn they must demo this meal on the Rachael Ray show, with their Girl Scout, in front of a live studio audience.
  • Star Quality

    Season 4 -

    Before they've even unpacked, the 10 finalists face their first on-camera challenge from Alton Brown. Then they must team up and cook for a really tough crowd-a table full of Food Network Stars.
  • Ultimate Vegas Buffet

    Season 4 -

    Finalists must shoot scripted promos at iconic Vegas locations. Then they must each create a lavish buffet for the ultimate Vegas crowd —entertainers from famous Vegas shows and top Vegas chefs.
  • Vegas Throwdown

    Season 4 -

    In Las Vegas, the Final Four compete in two Throwdown-style competitions: they must each make an ultimate version of their own signature dish, while simultaneously creating an ultimate version of their competitor’s signature dish. All the while being peppered with questions from the committee, Paula and Extra’s Dayna Devon.

    Finalists try to stand out from the pack using the same humble ingredient, a russet potato, and must present their dish to camera. Then they must invent an original food product, to be sampled and critiqued by 50 food buyers...and to surprise guest Martha Stewart.

    The remaining four finalists try to be Iron Chefs! Alton Brown hosts two battles, where each of our finalists must create three dishes in one hour. And each of our Iron Chef America wannabes gets a surprise sous chef—a previously eliminated finalist! Iron Chefs Bobby Flay and Cat Cora, plus frequent ICA judge Karine Bakhoum, judge the battles.
  • Meet the Press

    Food Network Superstar Rachael Ray invites the three finalists to her daily talk show and they each get a turn to cook their signature dish with one of America’s favorite TV cooks. The search is narrowed to 2 finalists, and voting opens up to America to make the final decision.

    NBA Legend Darryl “Chocolate Thunder” Dawkins joins last season’s winner Guy Fieri to test the finalists. First Dawkins challenges them to create an original chocolate dish. Then the finalists must each put a unique spin on a stadium food and serve their creations to the fans at a New Jersey Nets game. The fans vote on who has the tastiest dish.

  • Panic on the Panel

    Season 1 - July 1, 2018

    It's the halfway point in the competition, so for the first challenge the finalists are judged on their progress so far. But the tables are turned when they find out they must judge themselves! Then they're thrown in the deep end when People Magazine editor-in-chief Jess Cagle splits them into two teams to judge and evaluate mentors Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis on their own dishes. What the finalists don't know is that the bottom two on each panel will compete in a sudden death cook-off, and two finalists will be sent packing.

  • Summer Bite Bash

    Season 1 - June 24, 2018

    The remaining finalists think they're cooking solo at an exclusive private event for foodies and tastemakers, but en route to their destination, Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay reveal a twist -- they'll be cooking and presenting in teams. When they arrive, each team discovers their event theme, ingredients and decor in the trunk of their vehicle. They must pull together an international-themed party and team demo for the crowd, which includes Bobby, Giada and guest judge Tyler Florence, with one finalist eliminated at the end of the day.

  • Destination Videos

    Season 1 - June 17, 2018

    The remaining finalists enter the popular world of podcasting as they team up to create food podcasts about colorful snacks. Bobby Flay, Giada De Laurentiis and guest judge Richard Blais listen and critique. After deciding whose voices paint the prettiest picture, the finalists are split up into two teams for field reports from Los Angeles' hottest food hall, The Proud Bird. These destination videos are screened and critiqued by Bobby, Giada and Food Network Star alum and co-host of Southern and Hungry, Damaris Phillips, to determine which competitor is eliminated.

  • Are You a Main Attraction?

    Season 1 - June 10, 2018

    Ten Food Network Star hopefuls are greeted by Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay at Universal Orlando Resort's Volcano Bay to kick off the competition with a surprise -- the results of Food Network Star: Comeback Kitchen and who will be joining the competition. Then each finalist must create a portable version of their signature dish and go head-to-head with another competitor to convince park guests to try their dish. The heat is on, and it's not just the volcano, as Giada and Bobby decide who gets sent home in the first elimination.
