My Sugar Shack Menu
Every spring, Ricardo needs at least one traditional sugar shack menu. This year, he has decided to stay home and share this very French Canadian tradition with his family and friends. All of his old family recipes are on the menu: slow cooked bourbon baked beans, a tender maple ham with caramelized onion and a country-style omelette served with crispy pork rinds. And for dessert: sweet maple syrup dumplings that will definitely call for a glass of milk. Of course, nothing is complete without maple taffy on snow.
