Ricardo and his wife decide to get away for a weekend and go skiing with their good friends Hélène and Jean-Pierre. Their destination is a picturesque log cabin in the woods near Mont-Tremblant. To warm up his cold skiing party, Ricardo has brought along a soothing almond milk. Back at the cabin he whips up a terrific feast. To start off the après-ski party he prepares a traditional raclette, followed by braised duck with mashed potatoes and cheese, honey-glazed carrots and green beans with almonds. To finish a perfect day 'the perfect cabin dessert' is served; a rustic apple, pear and date pie accompanied by a glass of ice cider.
