directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) Prepare cake batter according to package directions. Line two standard cupcake pans with foil baking cups discarding the paper liners between each.

Step 2

Place one cookie in the bottom of each baking cup; divide cake batter evenly between them. Bake for 18-21 minutes, rotating the pans top to bottom once while baking, or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool completely.

Step 3

Arrange cooled cupcakes on a serving platter or cake board in the desired shape. Ensure they are clustered tightly together as they will be iced as one cake. Starting from the centre, cover the entire surface of the cupcakes with vanilla frosting. Decorate with coloured icing, sprinkles and candles as desired.
