Muesli - this is the feel good breakfast! It’s also great for a weekend crowd because you can make it the night before.

Directions for: Muesli

Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats (250 ml)

¼ cup natural bran or wheat germ (60 ml)

¼ cup dried cherries or cranberries (60 ml)

2 Tbsp sunflower seeds (30 ml)

2 Tbsp chopped unblanched almonds or pecans (30 ml)

1 ½ cup yogurt (375 ml)

2 Tbsp honey (30 ml)

1 apple, diced

Fresh berries

Directions

1. In a dry skillet, toast oats and wheat germ over medium heat until fragrant. Let cool.

2. Add cherries, sunflower seeds, almonds and stir to combine. Stir in yoghurt, honey and apple. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for up to 2 days. Serve topped with fresh berries.
