g American oak chips or 10 g roasted barley seeds

oranges

sugar cubes
Angostura Bitters
large ice cubes

Step 1
Boil oak chips or barley in 4 cups of water. Strain barley seeds or chips from water. Let tea cool to room temperature.
Step 2
Crush sugar cubes in bottoms of rocks glass (1 per drink). Add ice cube to glass.
Step 3
Pour two fingers of tea into glass. Add a few drops of bitters.
Step 4
Cut thin strips of orange peel. Flame orange peel over drink. Rub charred peel along rim.
Step 5
Garnish with orange peel.
