About the Show
Food Network’s #1 Canadian original series of the year, Chopped Canada returns with more high-stakes, heart-pumping competition on November 28 at 9 E/P. With new host Brad Smith (Bachelor Canada) and Chef Mark McEwan (Top Chef Canada) joining the judging panel (bringing the total number of judges to 10), Chopped Canada delivers another winning season with chef competitors from across Canada. Season 3 features even more extraordinary and unpredictable ingredients and is layered with special themed episodes, helmed by the first ever Chopped Canada Teen Tournament.
In each episode, four chefs compete before an all-star rotating panel of three expert judges, including McEwan, Lynn Crawford (The Great Canadian Cookbook), Michael Smith (Chef Michael's Kitchen), Susur Lee (Top Chef Masters), Roger Mooking (Man Fire Food), John Higgins (George Brown College), Anne Yarymowich (George Brown College), Antonio Park (Park Restaurant in Montreal), Massimo Capra (Restaurant Takeover), and Eden Grinshpan (Eden Eats). Armed with skill and ingenuity, the chef competitors race against the clock to turn the mystery ingredients from their iconic baskets into an extraordinary three-course meal. Course-by -course, the judges decide which competitor host Brad Smith will "chop" from the competition until only the winner remains. Season 3 of Chopped Canada begins with the five-part special Chopped Canada Teen Tournament on Saturday, November 28 at 9pm E/P.
