The 30-minute competition show brings three of the best bakers head-to-head-to-head to test their creativity and donut skills. In each episode, their first challenge is to create donuts that include a surprise ingredient. After getting creative with the clock ticking, the competitors will present their creations, leaving it up to our three judges to send one competitor home. The remaining two must now make a batch based on a theme dictated by the judges, utilizing another secret ingredient. To win they must think of every way to set their creations apart, through taste, style, presentation and innovation. The donuteer who is able to make the judges’ mouths water most will win $10,000.
A brand new host, the sharp-witted Daryn Jones, will act as ringmaster for the confectionary circus. Alongside returning first season judges Maggie McKeown, Zane Caplansky and David Rocco, a roster of culinary heavyweights will be taking turns on the judging panel.
