Jamie's Super Food is an exciting new series where you can learn how to eat your way to a healthier life. Each week Jamie cooks up a day’s worth of delicious meals – perfectly balanced plates of mouthwatering food that have all the good nutrition you need in a day.

Scientists have recently identified five spots around the globe where people are living significantly healthier and longer lives than the rest of us. Each week Jamie will visit two of these countries to uncover their diet secrets. He’ll then bring his top tricks and principles back to the UK and turn them into exciting and inspiring recipes that everyone will look forward to eating. This series is a food lover’s dream – exceptional, delicious food stuffed with health-giving nutrition at every turn.

Jamie’s Super Food is not about goji berries and green drinks, or about compromise and denial. It’s about using simple everyday ingredients that when put together have incredible health benefits. Restaurants and cooking are in Jamie Oliver’s blood, as his parents own and operate a successful pub/restaurant in Clavering, where he grew up. He attended Westminster Catering College at 16, where he completed his formal training.
