What’s the meal?
Goodfood is offering the Aloette Wagyu Burger meal-kit with Seared Halloumi and Pickle Mayo. ICYMI, the Aloette Wagyu Burger is one of the restaurant’s most iconic dishes, and is frequently included on just about every “best burger in the city” list. If you’ve never had the chance to visit Aloette yourself, or you’re just really craving that wagyu burger, now is the time to try it.
When can I order it?
This special edition meal kit will be available for order from now until February 1, but we have a feeling they might not last that long.
I don’t live in Toronto, can I still order it?
Yes, the meal kit is available Canada-wide.
What comes in the kit?
In the meal kit you’ll receive pre-portioned ingredients and easy-to-follow recipe cards.
Do I need to subscribe to Goodfood to access the kit?
Yes, you need to subscribe to Goodfood to order the meal kit. Their subscriptions start at $7 per serving for first-time subscribers, and you can cancel your subscription at any time. You can subscribe at makefoodfood.ca.
I don’t want to subscribe, is there another way for me to try Aloette at home?
You’re in luck! Thanks to Big Food Bucket List, Food Network Canada scored the recipe for Aloette’s iconic Lemon Meringue Pie. While it may not have the savoury appeal of the wagyu burger, it’s equally as beloved and arguably even more show-stopping. Get the recipe here.
