Ina Garten Just Renovated Her Kitchen and We’re in Love

It only took 25 years but the Barefoot Contessa AKA Ina Garten has finally renovated her kitchen and it looks stunning. Ina revealed sneak peaks of her new kitchen on Instagram, captioning “I gave myself a project of renovating my kitchen, which I hadn’t done for 25 years!! I built my dream pantry and bought my favourite Lacanche stove.”

Ina’s kitchen in her gorgeous East Hampton home has been the anchor of her shows for years. From filming the Barefoot Contessa to Be My Guest With Ina Garten there, she has brought us into her world to experience all things booze, bread and butter. But everyone’s favourite coastal grandmother has decided to retire her decor of two decades and opt for a more chic, modern look and feel. Ina built a custom pantry

With so much cooking going on, we’re thrilled to see she was able to build the pantry of her dreams. Outfitted with tons of storage space for plates and dinnerware, it’s like walking into Mary Poppins’ bag.

She loves her neutral countertops

Before the renovation, Ina had gorgeous dark countertops that added depth to the look of the kitchen. Ina has now opted for a neutral white/grey marble countertop that easily brightens up the room. We can only imagine how much fun Ina will have photographing her food on these new chic counters.

Ina’s Lacanche stove is a dream

Finally, the pièce de résistance – her Lacanche stove. A chef’s perfect playground, this luxury appliance is the literal definition of gorgeous. Reminiscent of old French kitchen fixtures, this stove truly ties the room together and sets the precedent that this is certainly not your average kitchen.
