Molly Yeh, the star of Food Network Canada’s Girl Meets Farm, stars in a one-hour special, Molly Yeh’s Magnolia Adventure.
On her hit Food Network Canada show Girl Meets Farm, Molly shares recipes that combine influences from her Jewish and Chinese heritage with the tastes of her life on the farm. Not only is she an incredible chef, she is also the author of her award-winning memoir, Molly on the Range: Recipes and Stories from an Unlikely Life on a Farm, and her 2018 book, Yogurt. Molly is the creator of her food and lifestyle blog, My Name is Yeh.
Molly Yeh’s Magnolia Adventure is a one-hour special that brings Molly together with some of your favourite personalities. In the special, Molly and husband Nick Hagen travel from their farm in the Midwest to Waco, Texas. Waco is the hometown of Chip and Joanna Gaines of Fixer Upper fame. Once there, Molly and Nick meet up with Joanna, who takes them around town and shows them all the local hotspots, including Magnolia Market at the Silos.
They also visit the renovated mill that is the setting for Joanna’s new cooking show—premiering on Magnolia Network—Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines. They learn the secret to making the best southern fried chicken and find some design inspiration along the way. Speaking of design inspiration, Molly Yeh’s Magnolia Adventure brings back Fixer Upper carpenter Clint Harp, too. Clint—whose new show, Restoration Road with Clint Harp will also air on Magnolia Network—joins Molly and Nick in the search for a custom wood piece for their farmhouse.
Chip and Joanna’s Magnolia Network launches on March 28, 2022. It will be the TV home of the new Fixer Upper reboot Fixer Upper: Welcome Home starring Chip and Jo, and Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines, as well as, a collection of inspiring original series curated by the couple.
