You don’t need a deep fryer to make these crispy and gooey mozzarella sticks! Baked in the air fryer, and a couple of these tricks, will ensure you get the perfect mozzarella sticks every time. The first tip is to double-bread the cheese to make a thick enough crust. This will ensure the cheese doesn’t spill out when cooking. The second suggestion is to freeze the cheese before putting it in the air fryer so it doesn’t melt too quickly. Lastly, for maximum cheese pull, use cheese string mozzarella.
