Vinaigrette

shallot, minced

Tbsp sherry vinegar

Tbsp soy sauce

Tbsp lemon juice

tsp chile paste

Coarse salt and freshly cracked black pepper
Beans

lb(s) Asian long beans, ends trimmed, beans cut in half crosswise
Coarse salt

Directions
Step 1
Whisk all the ingredients together in a large bowl.
Step 2
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Step 3
Add the long beans.
Step 4
Blanch until crisp tender, about 1 minute.
Step 5
Drain and refresh beans in a bowl of ice water.
Step 6
Drain and toss in a large bowl with the vinaigrette and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
