In this crunchy spiced nut melange, cayenne and cinnamon echo the interplay of savoury and sweet found in our new PC Bacon Maple Syrup. Serve with drinks, as a snack between meals, or pack into small mason jars for last-minute gifts.

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper, leaving overhang on all sides.
Toss together almonds, pecans, seeds, cayenne, cinnamon and salt in bowl. Pour in syrup; stir to coat. Transfer to prepared baking sheet.
Bake in centre of oven for 25 minutes, stirring every 8 minutes to coat nuts evenly. Remove from oven, stir well and cool completely on rack.
