ingredients
BBQ Pork Chops with Mashed Pot

pork chops, 1 inch thick
⅒
tsp garlic powder (⅛ tsp)
1
tsp bottled BBQ sauce
Mashed Potato
4
large potatoes (4 to 6)
Milk
Salt and pepper
Broccoli

Broccoli florets or 5 cups frozen broccoli florets (450g)

Step 1
Sprinkle each chop both sides with garlic powder and BBQ sauce.
Step 2
Broil or BBQ, turning once until cooked through. (Inside temperature 170F).
Step 3
Place thinly sliced potatoes in large pot of water and bring to boil until tender.
Step 4
Drain potatoes, add milk, butter, salt and pepper and mash.
Step 5
Rinse broccoli in colander.
Step 6
Place in microwave-safe pot.
Step 7
Cover and microwave at high 5 minutes. Let stand.
Step 8
Just before serving give broccoli another stir and microwave two additional minutes.
Step 9
Add butter if desired.
