large fennel bulbs, rinsed and trimmed, each fennel cut into eighths

Tbsp extra virgin olive oil (90 ml)
½
cup grated Grana Padano or Parmigiano cheese (125 ml)
½
cup breadcrumbs (125 ml)
Salt and pepper, to taste

Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2
Add fennel to a large pot of boiling salted water. Cook until fork tender, about 7 minutes. Drain and transfer fennel to baking pan. Drizzle fennel with extra virgin olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle grated cheese and breadcrumbs on top. Bake until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
