A cherry twist on a classic, this julep gets its sweetness from the maraschino cherry juice. You can use water to finish or club soda if you like fizz as much as I do! For the crushed ice, simply pulse ice cubes in a blender until desired consistency is reached. Cheers!

wedge of lime

to 6 fresh mint leaves

oz maraschino cherry juice
2
oz bourbon
water or club soda, to finish
Maraschino cherry, to garnish
lime wheel, to garnish

Step 1
In a cocktail pitcher, muddle together the lime, mint and cherry juice.
Step 2
Add the bourbon.
Step 3
Strain into a cocktail glass filled with crushed ice and finish with a splash of soda.
Step 4
Garnish with a cherry, lime wheel and spring of mint.
