Ingredients

lb(s) fresh Bing cherries, stemmed and pitted

cup cherry juice
1
tsp salt
1
sticks cinnamon
1
tsp almond extract

Tbsp sugar
8
oz sour cream

Directions
Step 1
Add cherries with their juice to pot. Add salt, cinnamon stick, almond extract and sugar. Bring to a boil, turn down and simmer until cherries are soft about ten minutes.
Step 2
Take off the heat. In a small bowl whisk sour cream and some hot cherry juice together.
Step 3
Incorporate sour cream mixture into soup and chill.
