Ingredients

English cucumbers

lb(s) sushi grade tuna, 1-inch dice (450 g)

Tbsp black sesame seeds (25 mL)

Tbsp sesame oil (15 mL)
freshly cracked pepper

Tbsp wasabi paste (15 mL)

cup mayonnaise (50 mL)
¼
tsp hot chili paste (1 mL)

Directions

Step 1

With a mandolin slice the cucumber lengthwise to create thin long strips.

Step 2

In a bowl combine tuna, black sesame seeds, sesame oil, and freshly ground pepper. Reserve.

Step 3

Lay one strip of the cucumber flat on a clean surface.

Step 4

Place a spoon of the tuna mixture at one end and roll up like a sushi roll. Place a touch of wasabi paste at the other end to seal.

Step 5

Slice roll in half, displaying the green part of the cucumber on the top.

Step 6

In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise and the chili paste. Top each cucumber roll with a small dollop.
