L water
tsp canola or olive oil
3
boneless, skinless chicken breasts
tsp prepared garlic
tsp dried basil
tsp curry powder
tsp cayenne pepper

mushrooms

green pepper (optional)

heads of broccoli

can of cream of mushroom soup

oz 1% milk (½ the milk can)

g linguine pasta

tsp basil

tsp olive oil
Mrs. Dash Original seasoning (to taste)
butter or margarine (optional)

Step 1

Fill a large stovetop pot with water. Cover and bring to a boil for pasta.

Step 2

Heat oil in a large nonstick fry pan or wok at med-high.

Step 3

Cut chicken into bite size pieces and gradually add to pan as you cut. Toss until meat is no longer pink. Add spices to pan while meat is browning. Stir.

Step 4

Wash and slice mushrooms, adding to pan as you cut.

Step 5

Rinse broccoli in colander. Place in a medium size microwave-safe pot or casserole with lid. Cover and microwave at high for 3 minutes.

Step 6

Add soup to chicken mixture. Gradually stir in milk until well blended. Simmer at medium low, stirring occasionally.

Step 7

Place pasta in boiling water. Stir and cook uncovered. Set timer to package directions (approx 10 minutes). Rinse the cooked pasta in a colander then return to pot at low heat. Toss with basil and a little olive oil if you like. Cover and remove from heat.

Step 8

Add spice to broccoli, stir and microwave at high for 1 additional minute just before serving. Stir in butter if you must!
