These are great for camping and backpacking trips when you need nutrients without all the water-weight.

apples of your choice, cored and sliced very thin (I like Honeycrisp and Fuji)

Feel free to add cinnamon to the apples for extra flavour.
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200ºF (95ºC).
Step 2
Core your apples and slice them very thinly (leave on the skin for a bit of extra fibre).
Step 3
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and lay out all of the apple slices with space between them so they’re not touching.
Step 4
Put the tray in the oven and let them dry out low n’ slow for 6-8 hours. I recommend doing this overnight so you can check on it in the morning.
