Sit back and relax with a cup of tea and scones!
Use any dried fruit instead of currants if you like.
Preheat a conventional oven to 425ºF.
Knead all dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Cut in unsalted butter.
Mix until dough resembles pie crust consistency.
Add heavy cream.
Take 1/4 cup of dough, and make balls out of the dough.
Put on buttered cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes.
Serve with jam and cream if desired.
