Bananas

Tbsp butter (30 ml)

large bananas

Tbsp brown sugar (30 ml)
juice of ½ lime

to 4 tbsp. rum (45 to 60 ml)
Whipped cream, for garnish optional
Chocolate Sauce

part cream

part dark chocolate, chopped in small pieces

Step 1
Over medium high heat, melt butter. Add brown sugar and bananas. Sauté for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove pan from heat and add rum. Add pan back to heat. Ignite with long match. The alcohol should burn off in a few seconds and flame will extinguish. Add the lime juice. If flame does extinguish, cover pan with lid. Serve with warm chocolate and whipped cream.
Step 2
Heat cream over medium high heat until comes to a boil. Add to chopped chocolate. Stir until chocolate melts. Serve warm.
