Step 1
Balsamic Syrup: In a small saucepan, bring vinegar and sugar to a boil over medium-high heat; reduce heat and simmer until reduced by half, about 10 minutes.
Step 2
On each of 16 small skewers, thread 1 grape, then 1 cube cheese; repeat once, then finish with another grape.

Place skewers on a platter; drizzle with some of the balsamic syrup, and serve any remaining syrup in a small bowl for dipping.
