This super simple, three-ingredient sweet summer treat will be your new go-to dessert! Pineapple spears are coated in a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon and grilled until caramelized and golden all over. You’ll be grilling this one all summer long.
We prefer to cut off the pineapple core, but this is optional, as it will soften when grilled.
Preheat grill for medium-high heat.
Cut the top and bottom off of the pineapple, then trim off the skin and remove any “eyes” left. Slice the pineapple into 16 even spears, removing core (see note). Set aside.
Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a small shallow dish or tray. One by one, coat each pineapple spear in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Repeat until all the spears are coated on all sides.
Grill the pineapple spears for about 5 minutes on each side or until they’re golden brown and caramelized.
Remove from the grill and serve immediately.
