Directions for: Homemade Almond Milk

1 cup organic almonds

4 cup filtered water

1 pinch unrefined sea salt

1 Tbsp unpasteurized honey

1. Soak organic almonds in water overnight, filling the bowl at least one inch above the top of the nuts (the almonds will soak up the water but need to remain submerged all night). Drain and rinse in the morning.

2. Place soaked almonds, filtered water, unpasteurized honey and unrefined sea salt into a blender and blend until smooth (at least 3 minutes). Strain through a sieve.

3. Pour over cereals or porridges, add to teas in place of dairy or substitute for dairy products in recipes. Enjoy.
