cup clover honey
cup light brown sugar, packed
tsp vanilla extract
cup whole wheat flour
tsp baking powder
tsp fine salt
tsp ground cinnamon
cup sesame seeds, lightly tossed
Preheat oven to 350 °F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Beat butter, honey and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon and add to butter mixture. Stir in toasted sesame seeds. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking tray, leaving 2 inches between each cookie. Bake for about 7 minutes, until cookies brown around the edges. Cool cookies for 1 minute, then remove to cool completely.
