Tbsp minced ginger, root

cloves garlic, minced

jalapeno pepper, seeded, and, minced

hot green chili pepper, seeded, and, minced

Tbsp vegetable oil

egg, yolk

Tbsp cornstarch

tsp salt
½
tsp turmeric

tsp ground coriander

lb(s) lean ground beef

Step 1

In large bowl, stir together ginger, garlic, jalapeño, oil, egg yolk, cornstarch, salt, turmeric and coriander; mix in beef until blended.

Step 2

Divide into 8 portions; shape each into ball.

Step 3

Thread 2 balls onto each of 4 metal or soaked wooden skewers; squeeze each into 3-inch (8 cm) sausage shape.

Step 4

Place skewers on greased grill over medium-high heat; close lid and cook, turning skewers once, for about 15 minutes or until koftas are lightly browned and no longer
