Mixed Fruit Cobbler

cup thinly sliced peeled apples

cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1
cup fresh or frozen raspberries or strawberries

cup granulated sugar
⅓
cup all-purpose flour
¼
cup water
Topping
1 ¾
cup all-purpose flour

Tbsp granulated sugar
4
tsp baking powder
½
tsp salt
½
cup lactose free margarine
1
cup Natrel Lactose Free Milk

Step 1
Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Spread in greased 9” (2.5 L) square cake pan or 2 1/2 qt (2.5 L) baking dish.

Tip:
· Vary fruits to enjoy what’s in season or your family favourites. Keep total amount the same.
Step 3
Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in margarine with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add milk all at once. Stir with fork until all ingredients are moistened. Drop spoonfuls of batter over fruit, covering surface. Bake at 400oF (200oC) for 25 to 30 minutes, or until top is golden. Serve warm.
