Muesli – this is the feel good breakfast! It’s also great for a weekend crowd because you can make it the night before.

ingredients

cup rolled oats (250 ml)

cup natural bran or wheat germ (60 ml)
¼
cup dried cherries or cranberries (60 ml)

Tbsp sunflower seeds (30 ml)

Tbsp chopped unblanched almonds or pecans (30 ml)
1 ½
cup yogurt (375 ml)

Tbsp honey (30 ml)
1
apple, diced
Fresh berries

Step 1

In a dry skillet, toast oats and wheat germ over medium heat until fragrant. Let cool.

Step 2

Add cherries, sunflower seeds, almonds and stir to combine. Stir in yoghurt, honey and apple. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for up to 2 days. Serve topped with fresh berries.
