cup crème fraîche, or sour cream

small onion, very thinly sliced

to 4 slices bacon, but into lardons
Freshly ground black pepper
Fleur de sel

Step 1
Heat the oven to 450°F/230°C. Spread over the cream, going all the way out to the edges. Scatter over the onion slices and the bacon. Grind over black pepper and sprinkle over fleur de sel. Bake until the cream is bubbling, the bacon cooked, and the onions curled and starting to brown, about 20 minutes.
