Named after both the closest subway station to Nota Bene as well as “grog” which is an old term for an alcoholic beverage made with beer, lemon or lime and rum. It was the drink of sailors going on long journeys.

oz Bacardi 8-Year Rum
¾
oz simple syrup
juice of 1 lime

drops vanilla extract
2
oz Goose Island Honkers Ale

Step 1

Shake all ingredients except the beer. Dump into Collins glass. Top with the beer. Garnish with a lime wheel.
