I like to make this recipe on the barbeque outside, so that if the rum ignites, flames aren’t a worry. If you are preparing this indoors, just cook this dish on medium heat.
cup unsalted butter
cup brown sugar
juice of ½ orange
juice of ½ lemon
Tbsp rum, optional
vanilla ice cream
Peel and slice peaches.
In a sauté pan over high heat, melt butter and brown sugar together until bubbling. Squeeze in orange and lemon juices and stir. Add rum, watching for flames. Sprinkle in cinnamon and wait until foster sauce bubbles again.
Add peaches, stir for one minute and remove from heat.
Spoon over ice cream and enjoy!!
