cups granulated sugar

tbsp butter, plus extra for greasing

tbsp vanilla extract

cups pecan halves

Step 1
Heat evaporated milk on high.
Step 2
Add sugar, butter and vanilla.
Step 3
Stir continuously until mixture thickens to a molasses-like consistency.
Step 4
Stir in pecans.

Spoon large scoop onto greased tinfoil or waxed paper and let cool.
