cup capers, drained (50 mL)

small red onion
Zest of 2 lemons
Freshly ground black pepper

ficelle (125g each) (mini baguettes)

oz smoked salmon, sliced (250 g)

bunch chives

Step 1
In a food processor combine cream cheese, capers, red onion, lemon zest and pepper, and process until smooth. Set aside.
Step 2
Cut ficelles in half length-wise.
Step 3
Spread bottom half of baguette with cream cheese mixture
Step 4
Layer slices of smoked salmon and top with top half of baguette
Step 5
Place the bunch of chives in a bowl filled with boiling water
Step 6
Cut baguette into 12 slices depending on desired sandwich size.
Step 7
Tie with chive to hold together.
