cup half and half cream

Tbsp sugar

Tbsp cornstarch

cup sour cream, full fat

Directions
Step 1
Pour cold cream into a saucepot. Toss sugar and cornstarch together and whisk into cream. Heat on medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. Chill completely.
Step 2
Stir sour cream into cream and churn in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s instruction. Scrape into a container and freeze until firm.
Step 3
Yield: approximatley 2 1/2 cups.
