cup mixture of raw blanched nuts, cashew, almonds, pecan, walnut

Tbsp brown sugar
1
Tbsp toasted cumin, seeds, ground
1
Tbsp toasted coriander, seeds, ground
2
tsp mustard powder
¼
tsp cayenne pepper
¼
tsp salt
1
Tbsp orange flower or rose water

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2
Place a baking sheet into the preheated oven for 5 minutes. Spread the nuts on the pan.
Step 3
Combine the rest of the ingredients, except the water, in an ovenproof bowl.
Step 4
Sprinkle half the spice mixture over the nuts on the pan. Put in oven and toast for 7 to 10 minutes until the nuts are golden brown.
Step 5
Remove the nuts from the oven and put them in the bowl with the other half of the spice mixture.
Step 6
Drizzle the water over the nuts and toss. Mix until spices are evenly coated and adhering to the nuts.
Step 7
Place bowl of nuts on baking sheet and put back into the oven. Roast until the nuts are dry but not burnt.
Step 8
Cool and separate. Place in a sealed container to store.
Step 9
Makes 1 cup.
