Starlight sparkler cocktail
For the syrup: Place the starfruit, sugar, and water in a small saucepan and place over high heat. Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce it to a simmer. Let simmer for 15 minutes.
Strain the syrup into a heat-proof jar and let cool uncovered to room temperature.
For the cocktail: Place a couple of coupes in the freezer to chill while you prepare the cocktail.
