Meanwhile, put the sour cream, 2 tablespoons sugar, and salt in a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until smooth. Add the heavy cream and continue to beat until thick and fluffy. Swirl in streaks of the strawberry jam. Transfer to a decorative dip bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve.
