This is really easy, my 9 year old daughter loves to make it herself!

I came up with this recipe by combining a number of different recipes that I’ve seen.

ingredients

For the Monkey Bread

cans pre-made biscuit dough
¼
cup granular sugar

Tbsp cinnamon

Tbsp brown sugar
1
stick (8 Tbsp) salted butter, melted

For the Icing

4
oz cream cheese at room temp
1 ½
cups icing sugar, sifted
1
tsp vanilla extract
4
Tbsp milk

Step 1

Cut each biscuit into quarters and toss with melted butter.

Step 2

Roll the buttery biscuit dough in the sugar and cinnamon mixture.

Step 3

Grease a bunt pan well.

Step 4

Layer the biscuit pieces into the bundt pan.

Step 5

Mix the remaining butter and sugar and cinnamon together.

Step 6

Pour over the biscuit pieces.

Step 7

Cover bundt pan with foil and bake at 350ºF for 35 minutes.

Step 8

Uncover and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the top is golden.

Step 9

Allow to cool for 15 minutes then turn out onto a large plate. Be careful there will be melted sugar and butter that will run out or the pan once inverted.

Step 10

Add all ingredients to a medium bowl and beat with electric mixer.

Step 11

Add more milk as required to make icing to your preferred consistency.

Step 12

Drizzle icing over monkey bread as desired. remainder can be used for dipping!
