The Domestic Geek’s VH Sweet and Sour Meatballs

ingredients

lb ground pork

cup panko bread crumbs

green onions, finely chopped

garlic clove, grated

tsp grated ginger
Salt and pepper to taste

Tbsp oil

red bell pepper, chopped

cup chopped pineapple
1
cup VH Sweet and Sour Sauce

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the ground pork with the panko breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper. Stir well.

Step 2

Using a cookie scoop or spoon, form the mixture into small meatballs.

Step 3

In a large nonstick skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs and cook, flipping regularly, until the are browned on all sides.

Step 4

Add the bell pepper and pineapple and cook for another two to three minutes, or until the bell pepper begins to soften. Next, add the VH Sweet and Sour Sauce.

Step 5

Cover, reduce the heat to medium-low, and simmer for five to ten minutes until the meatballs are fully cooked.

Step 6

Serve immediately over rice or store in the refrigerator for up to three days.
