Try these sweet deep fried fritters with a hint of apple cider vinegar.

Tbsp apple cider vinegar

cup vegetable oil, for frying

cup icing sugar

Step 1
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, egg, egg yolk, olive oil, vinegar and sugar.
Step 2
Knead dough until smooth, about 3-5 minutes.
Step 3
Use extra flour if dough sticks to work surface.
Step 4
Cover well and let rest 30 minutes.
Step 5
On a lightly floured surface or in a pasta machine, roll dough into a thin sheet, about 1/8-inch thick.
Step 6
Cut into thin strips with pastry wheel or knife (about 2 x 5-inch).
Step 7
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet until about 350°F (180°C).
Step 8
Fry fritters about 6 at a time turning with slotted spoon until evenly golden.
Step 9
Transfer to paper towel lined tray. Repeat with remaining fritters.
Step 10
Transfer to serving tray and dust generously with icing sugar.
