cup mayonnaise

tsp minced shallots

tsp minced chives
2
tsp minced parsley
2
tsp minced dill
2
tsp minced thyme
2
tsp minced rosemary

Step 1

Cook the whelks for 25 minutes in boiling water. Remove whelks from the shell, remove the digestive system.

Step 2

Combine the mayonnaise, the shallots and the minced herbs.

Step 3

Use a long bamboo skewer to dip the whelk into the herbed mayonnaise. Return the whelk to the empty shell and top with another spoonful of herbed mayonnaise.
