The day kicks off with a fabulous breakfast of Potato Latkes and Homemade Applesauce, then armed with a packed lunch of Smoked Salmon and Herb Cream Cheese Bagels, it's off to Brooklyn for a culinary tour including a visit to the best pizza place in Brooklyn, Franny's Pizzeria, where Ina and Jeffrey get a lesson in making authentic Clams, Chilies and Parsley Pizza, and then it's back to East Hampton with New York Egg Cream for a retro nightcap.

There's a mozzarella master class with a local cheese maker; an Italian drinks tray inspired by cocktails and store-bought hors d'oeuvres sampled at the fabulous Lungarno hotel in Florence; Baked Fish in Parchment; Parmesan Polenta; and Affogato Sundaes, the easiest Italian dessert ever. Ina's guests will collect Italian wine and set the table Italian-style.

    Ina makes dinner to celebrate the arrival of her friend's newborn son. There's a delicious nursery food menu and an incredible setting to match. There's Truffle Popcorn with drinks followed by Spicy Turkey Meatballs, Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp and S'mores around the fire pit. The whole meal is served outside under incredible garden lights designed by Ina's friend Greg Yale, who is transforming the garden into a fantastic lighting grotto for the occasion.

    Season 6 - February 28, 2013

    It's school today for Ina as she plays both teacher and student. First there's a cookery class, with banana cake to frost and blueberry muffins to make. Then it's Ina Asks, when Ina turns the tables and plays student. It's back to school for Ina when she asks the International Culinary Institute in NYC three cooking questions that we all want to know the answer to.

    Ina is working on an article about brunch and calls in the help of team brunch. Local florist Michael Grimm creates a flower display to go on the brunch table set and photographed by Miguel Florres. There's Baked Blintzes With Fresh Blueberry Sauce, Apricot Butter, Roasted Hazelnut Granola and a Fruit Platter.

    This is all about comfort food as Ina cooks up modern day comfort classics. This is comfort for breakfast, dinner and entertaining.

    Ina's making over classic dishes and turning up the volume with new ingredients and cooking methods. By daring to be different Ina transforms dishes with a big flavor payoff.     It's competition time and battle of the taste buds as Ina and her friends Eli Zabar and David Ziff plan a pot luck dinner. They each take a course with a Mediterranean theme and create dishes such as Grilled Eggplant With Sherry Vinegar Drizzle, Fried Baby Artichokes, Eli's Grilled Rib Eye Steak and Italian Plum Tart. But first there's breakfast at Ina's to discuss the plan over delicious Tri-Berry Pancakes.

    It's a drill dinner for local fire fighters. After a practice fire drill, Ina pitches in and serves the fire fighters up a delicious dinner back at the station. There's beef barley soup, Firefighter Scott Elley's sloppy joes served with Ina's stilton dressing and make your own pecan caramel sundaes.

    Season 6 - January 3, 2013

    Ina is making dinner for her friend Miguel Florres-Vianna who is at the barn photographing the garden. While Miguel takes photos he creates a surprise table setting for Ina inspired by foliage found in the garden. On the menu are Panko-Crusted Salmon, Warm French Lentils, All American Cheese Board and Chicken Noodle Soup for Miguel's journey back to the city.

  • BC Burger Joint

    Season 5 -

    Ina's tuning up the volume on burger joint classics. There's easy Seafood Chowder, then she discovers the secrets on how to make the perfect burger with Chef Laurent Tourondel from LT burger, who also shares his recipes for delicious burger toppings, pickle mayo and guacamole. Then salad and fries get a makeover with delicious Buttermilk Ranch Dressing With Bibb Lettuce and Baked Sweet Potato Fries. Then it's time to answer questions on burger joint food in Ask Ina.

    Season 5 -

    Ina's on an Italian adventure. Classic bolognese gets an easy makeover with fast to prepare and cook Weeknight Bolognese. Then it's a Tuscan classic Roasted Sausage and Grapes with renowned chef Johanne Kileen from Il Forno.     It's time to find out how the cookie crumbles, Barefoot-style, as Ina bakes up a storm in the barn. There's a double delicious treat as Ina makes Chocolate Chunk Blondies and Cookies from the same incredible batter. Then Patti Page, a fabulous friend and baker, is in the barn to give Ina a master class in cute Animal Cookies. And everyone's cookie conundrums are solved In Ask Ina.

    Ina unlocks the secrets of entertaining fast. There's two fantastic main course ideas, Roasted salmon with green herbs and Chicken with shallots, three fast side dishes Roasted tomatoes, Sautéed sugar snap peas and Blanched haricots vert with herbed butter. Then she has drafted in the help of top Interior Designer William Yeoward for a 5 minute table setting and Michael Grimm from Bridgehampton florists for a 5 minute flower arrangement.     Season 5 -

    Inspired by local food producers Ina is creating delicious recipes celebrating the incredible ingredients she can find right on her doorstep. First using Long Island honey there's Honey Vanilla Pound Cake, and then cheese from award winning Mecox Diary is the star in Mache With Warm Brie and Apples. And ideas to preserve flavor, homemade Vanilla Extract, raspberry vodka and Garlic and Lemon Oil inspired by local company East End Foodies. Local ingredients and seasonal produce get tackled in Ask Ina.

  • Postcards from Paris

    Season 5 -

    Inspired by foodie haunts visited in Paris, Ina has a day of eating French. From the French bistros there's French Country Omelet for breakfast, Veal Chops With Roquefort Butter and delicious Potato Basil Puree. Jeffrey is sent on a mission for French bread and dessert. Then French gets an easy makeover in Ask Ina. 

  • Summertime Easy

    Season 5 -

    It's a day of sunshine food at the barn. There's delicious roasted shrimp with feta in exchange for an ice cream master class from friend and creamery owner Rori Trovata. Together they mix up salted caramel ice cream. Then it's Summer Garden Pasta for dinner with Jeffrey and everyone's summer questions answered in Ask Ina.

    Season 4 -

    Ina is writing an article about eating local and she's challenged herself to make a meal entirely from Hamptons ingredients. There's eggplant caponata with produce from a farm in Water Mill, then catch of the day in Montauk is sea bass so Ina's roasting it with a Caesar inspired sauce. And for dessert, fresh peach cake with fruit from the farmers market and even the eggs are local, freshly laid by happy Hamptons chickens. Then it's all veg talk in Ask Ina.
  • Herb Story

    Season 4 -

    Nothing turns up the volume more in cooking than herbs. Ina is sharing her top herbs and how to use them in delicious recipes, Greek lamb with a yoghurt mint sauce and oregano, feta and tomato salad. Then she's teaming up with Eli Zabar who will be sharing an incredible tomato salad recipe with fresh tarragon. Then she's answering everyone's herb questions in Ask Ina

    Season 4 -

    It's Friday night and Ina is cooking up a delicious steak dinner for Jeffrey with a twist. This time Jeffrey's making his own supper on the grill.
