Sticky, sweet, spicy, and chock-full of sesame seed flavour and crunch, these addictive drumsticks turn simple chicken into something spectacular. Weeknight, weekend and game day-friendly, you don’t need an excuse to make chicken tonight.

- 12 chicken drumsticks (skin-on or skinless)

tsp Dijon mustard
3
tbsp maple syrup, more for serving

tsp granulated garlic (not garlic salt)

tbsp sesame seeds

tsp red pepper flakes, to taste

Step 1
Preheat oven to 425ºF. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Step 2
Into a large bowl, toss chicken with mustard, maple syrup and garlic.
Step 3
Add sesame seeds to a plate. Dredge bottom of drumsticks in sesame seeds and place on prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with pepper flakes.
Step 4
Bake for 25 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Serve with additional maple syrup for drizzling, if desired.
