Austin Granados — Winnipeg, MB
Austin Granados is a pastry chef from Winnipeg, Canada. After high school, Austin attended post-secondary culinary school in Vancouver. He has worked and trained in restaurants across the globe and in cities like New York, Hong Kong and Copenhagen. He has been the co-owner of Cake-ology in the Exchange District since 2021. In his spare time, he loves traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Dominick Miller — Santa Rosa, CA
Dominick is a pastry chef in Santa Rosa, CA. He recently started his own business, specializing in cake artistry and dessert catering. In high school, he worked as a cake decorator and after receiving an Associates Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts, he went on to work primarily in fine dining restaurants. He now brings his experience and skills to his own elevated cake business. When he’s not baking, Dominick loves spending time in nature, reading and practicing yoga.
Tara Canaday — Cumberland, ME
Tara is an executive pastry chef currently working in product development. She has been baking professionally for over ten years in restaurants and for her own food businesses. She has been featured for her work in publications such as Forbes and Insider.
Chris Jara — San Antonio, TX
Chris is an executive chef in San Antonio, TX. He trained at Johnson and Wales University and has been a pastry chef for many years. Chris is excited to challenge himself in this competition and make his family proud.
Stephanie Tucci — Barrie, ON
Stephanie Tucci is a trained chef who made the switch from the savory world to full-blown pastry back in 2019. She is most passionate about Italian desserts and gelato, and credits her time in Italy for inspiring her major culinary transition. She now owns a micro-bakery in Barrie, Ontario where you can find all of her pastry innovations.
Vonshia Brown — Los Angeles, CA
Vonshia is a pastry chef who grew up baking with her grandmother. She fell in love with baking when she realized she could be creative while making delicious treats. She wants to win this competition for her mother who always wanted to see her on a baking show.
Rob Lough — Houston, TX
Rob is a proud US Army Veteran. He was deployed three times and served in the 82nd Airborne Division. He went to the California Culinary Academy (CCA) and graduated with honors from their Savoury and Pastry Program. He has worked in multiple Michelin Star restaurants, from San Francisco to New York City. Summer is Rob’s favorite time of year and he enjoys outdoor activities, being in the water and soaking up the sun!

Nayibe "Nayi" Renaud — Las Vegas, NV
Nayibe is a Dominican and Haitian Pastry chef. She’s the winner of Dessert Wars and Owner of Nayi’s Delicacies. Nayi recently moved to Nevada to work for a hotel group in Las Vegas. Baking is her absolute passion and her main motto is if you can crave it she can make it!
German Rizzo — Glen Cove, NY
German is the chef and owner of Plado Hospitality Group. Born and raised in Turin, Italy, he grew up surrounded by the culinary inspirations and authentic flavors of his home country. He brought his love and passion for baking and pastry to New York City, and has opened three Mediterranean tapas locations in the Big Apple.
Karol Zapata — Queens, NY
A first-generation immigrant, Karol is driven by an unwavering pursuit of perfection and her dedication knows no limits. She recently opened her own bakery.
